The Idea of Creation

Oceanic world is the origins of my art creativities and artistic imaginations. Those leisurely, unhurried and elegant marine creatures they are the happiness of my art creation.

In my opinion the imagination of art must be unchained and without any boundary. With the unlimited imagination, my pure innocent passion of art will turns the white marble into an Angel; an Angel can even get rid of the gravity of earth and flying high to the sky.

I started my personal art exploration from three dimensional aspects form of sphere. The sphere contains the continuums of curves and cambered surface with this “rounded” characteristic, I tried to reveal one simple truth:” Through art, one shall win the freedom, a freedom to flying in the sky, even he just stands in earth”, in my sculptures.

The childish innocence is my essence of heart and soul. Also it’s the origin of the inner proclivity of my work. This childlike instinct makes me to sense the form of life in a different way; it makes me to experience the life in varieties of emotional situations. While I was creating my sculpture this inner proclivity of heart draws me to focus on using sensibility and childlike personality to igniting the artistic and interesting characteristic of my sculpture.

I have already developed two different serials of works since the beginning of my personal art exploration. The first serial is “Breeding ” and the second serial is “The ﹌﹌ symbols”.

“Breeding” serial was created during my illness period. Sickness had influenced my feeling of life and made me to re-experience it again. Those works revealed my understanding and feeling of Life during the period. The forms of sculptures, simply expressed the purity of my instinct and the substance of rock. With the randomly holes and texture of the sculpture’s surface, the works turned more livelily and vitality.
        
In the second serial “The ﹌﹌ symbols”, I was intended to discovering the unique character of the inner connection of the wild nature and the daily life of human society. For example, such as the crossing fingers, kissing, jigsaws, the outlines of weaving skirt or the patterns of the stream or the grainy surface of orange, even the shape of soft coral and the movements of snake…etc. To me all of these phenomena are the symbol of wholeness life, they make me to treat different life equally, “The ﹌﹌ symbol” serial is not just match and fit the meaning of holism, also the vitality and the vocabulary of The Whole.  

These two serials are complex form works (single work with multiple faces), once the viewers change their position they will see a different form of same sculpture. As the form changes with the changing view point, the imagination also turned differently, those changing imaginations also help the viewer to create a multiple imaginative field of vision. Through the effect of Gestalt psychology activating the viewers will enjoy the happiness of their imaginations of private memories.

In holding of the childlike heart and soul, I continually responding the imagination of creation from my inner consciousness and transmitting the pure feeling of innocent joy.
